This document will show how to find the App Name & API Key in the Authoring Tool and where to paste those values into a Unity template such as Explore AR or Ghost Hunter.
Locating the App Name & API Key
On the main dashboard, click the Show Token button
The App Name and API Key will appear. (Here is another method to find those values).
You can copy the value of the App Name and API Key from here.
Now, let’s paste them into the Unity Template.
Locate the Config Name
Navigate to your project dashboard and click on the Manage tab. Find the Project Config you would like to use. The “Config Name” you will need is the “System Name”.
Paste the Credentials into the Unity Template
Open a Unity template like Explore AR or Ghost Hunter.
In the Hierarchy, expand Apps and click on Setup.
In the Inspector, under the AR Quest App Setup script, find the App Config field and click to open the Explore AR Config.
Paste the App Name and API Key and Config Name values from the authoring tool into the corresponding fields.
Save the Scene in Unity and you’re done!
Alternate Method to Locate the App Name & API Key
On the main dashboard, click Projects.
Click Show Access Token
The App Name and API Key will display.
