Location

Description

A Location type is used to specify a real-world location. It uses coordinates to specify a point in the world. A Location can contain a list of [permalink id=2015 text=’Location Story Tags’] and Location Types. Both these properties specify attributes about the Location. For example, when creating a new coffee-shop Location, a Location Story Tag for that Location might be “cafe” and/or “coffee-shop”.

Your project must contain a Location [permalink id=1847 text=’Catalog’] in order to create custom Locations. To create a new Location in the Location Catalog Editor, click on the map to choose the coordinates for your new Location and then fill in the additional parameters.

Parameters

  • Story Tags

A list of [permalink id=2015 text=’Location Story Tags’]. Story tags can be used to filter Locations when writing scripts.
