A Daylight Condition evaluates the current type of daylight. That is, it is dawn, dusk, night or day. This differs from a Date Time Condition by having it reflect the daylight at any time in the year. When a Frame with a Daylight Condition is processed, it checks the value based on the selected location and the time of day in that location. If no location is specified, it will use the user’s location by default.
It is important to note that when using these in compound conditions, it is easy to get stuck in a situation where you say ask is it day or night. Remember that this may return dusk between the two, and that both subconditions would then be false.
- Daylight Type
The time of day that this should occur. (Day, Night, Dawn or Dusk)
The location at which this Condition will evaluate. This value can be chosen from any Location Catalog. If no location is specified, it will use the user’s location by default.
